Social activities
Besides class time, to successfully study Russian, you should be totally immersed in the culture Kiev has to offer. The amount of time spent in this environment will affect your language abilities greatly. Language comes to life during social situations. It is therefore important to apply the skills learned in the classroom to real-life situations. NovaMova gives you this opportunity to use your skills outside of class.
On behalf of our students, we regularly organize meetings with interesting people to speak with on cultural and political life in Ukraine. We often take our students to listen to live music, drive around the city, visit sporting events, and conduct evening parties at the school.
NovaMova regularly organizes meetings with interesting guest speakers. We bring to our students political analysts, historians, lawyers, physicians, connoisseurs of folklore and tradition, and religious leaders.

In Kiev, we love sport. The NovaMova team can educate you on where to go to enjoy sport with us for reasonable prices.

NovaMova has many creative ideas for how you can spend your weekends here in Kiev. We can arrange transportation, a tour guide, and a place to stay.

(Conversation Practice)
Peer coaching provides speaking practice that perfectly complements formal instruction. Students have the chance to chat and discuss topics they're interested in or need help understanding.

Once a week we show a film from our library of movies specially chosen for viewing by international students. The films will be shown in Russian with English subtitles.
You may learn new words, learn how to build sentences and ask questions, but if you need to speak Russian fluently you need communication in Russian.
